Enter Art Bead Scene’s Monthly Challenge.
This month’s theme is Ophelia’s Garden. Think earthy and floral for this month. You can take your inspiration from the painting or the subject of gardens.
The prizes for the May challenge have been donated by members of the Fired Clay Artists.
Any handmade object qualifies. This challenge is open to jewelry-makers, fiber artists, collage artist, etc. Beads by themselves DO NOT qualify.
How to enter: Submit a photo of an object you have created with art beads that fits this month’s theme to the Art Bead Scene Flickr group.
*If Flickr is beyond your techincal skills, email your photo and details to Heather at [email protected].
To enter, become a member of Flicker, if you are not already. Follow the instructions here: http://flickr.com/
Once you are a member, join the Art Bead Scene Flickr group by following the instructions located here: http://flickr.com/groups/artbeadscene/
Title your photos with MayABS. In your photo descriptions, list your name, website or blog, and the name of the artist who created your art beads, if possible. Also, please feel free to give a description or story behind your entry.
*Upload your pictures to your Flickr album and then send them to the Art Bead Scene group.

Your entry can feature art beads created by you or someone else. Each entry has to have at least one art bead. Each unique entry that incorporates an art bead and the monthly theme will qualify for the drawing.The winner will be randomly drawn from all the qualifying entries on June 1st.Good luck and happy creating!

Yes, you can create your own art beads or components for the challenge! But all entries should be finished crafts like jewelry. Loose beads or bead sets are not applicable.
