Amuse Your Muse Monday!

Happy Monday everyone! Another Monday, another week – and another selection of beautiful handmade beads.
Rebecca is on holiday today, so I’m stepping in with my muse to amuse and inspire you!
This is Heather of Humblebeads, your friendly Art Bead Scene editor.

Thank you to all the wonderful readers that shared
their beautiful beads and jewelry with us this month! Share your bird inspired jewelry creations and favorite bird-themed art beads with us in the comments below.
Liona shared her favorite last week that led me to Kerri Fuhr’s beautiful shop.  I love Kerri’s beads so much, I was glad to make another visit while bird watching today. I have one of Kerri’s birds in my bead stash, just waiting for an amazing project.

If you haven’t been to BlueBerri Beads before, it’s a must! I love these Bird Wing pendants and have made a necklace with this style, shown below.

Love a sweet bead bundle, this one has some fun classic spring colors with the yellow, navy and olive green.  I like these mixes because they are like a design starter kit! This set is from Slate Studio Supply.

You can never have to many egg beads, they look great in pendants and bracelets, wire-wrap them in nest or pair them up with a bird focal bead. These delicately hued ones are from lampwork artist Lori Bergmann.

I love birds and nests and find myself revisiting the theme often.  Nests are such a sweet symbol of hope.  This is a new bead style for me with a coin shape and my popular bird design.

Oh and wouldn’t it go perfectly with one of these wee little ceramic bird houses from my friend Tracee over at the Classic Bead

Rebecca will be returning a few days to add the Beady Links to this post.  Keep on eye this post to see what else it happening in our beady circle.

I will send you over to my blog today where I’m hosting a 12 week creativity challenge. It’s going to be tons of fun and super inspiring – don’t miss it! You can participate in one week or all twelve.

***Post Update from Rebecca, posting from rural Ireland! Phew – I managed to get onto some internet that would allow me to access Blogger. Sorry for the delay and huge thanks to Heather for stepping into my shoes. Here are the Bead Blogger Links for this week.***

Chipboard Heart Bracelet and Earrings
Eileen made this heart jewelry set with Valentine’s Day in mind, but loved it so much, she wore it early. Her friends asked where they could get one. She said, “Make your own.” Eileen wasn’t being snide or nasty. These are fun and inexpensive to make. Check it out!

Take 2
When you don’t succeed the first time, try again! That includes crafting of course.

Carmi’s Art/ Life
There is nothing like a fabulous bezel to inspire an equally fabulous felted collar.

Resin Crafts Blog
This week I had an opportunity to experiment with a new medium, Powertex, which allowed me to turn crocheted doilies into bezels I can pour resin into.

Snap out of it, Jean! There’s beading to be done!

Heather! Awesome post ! I love all the beads and would really like to jump on board with your challenges but I don't want to jump into to many projects at once . I am a little new to blog hops, and swaps . But I intend to join one of your blog hops or challenges very soon! Have a Great Day !
