June 16, 2017 at 4:19 pmThank you for this tutorial. This is my first attempt at anything to do with copper wire. I bought 16 gauge copper wire as recommended but my frame was very narrow and very thin (about 1/8th of an inch wide) and I struggled to punch a 1.5mm hole in the ends as it was so narrow and not at all like yours. The diameter of the wire was 1.25mm before hammering. Am I doing something wron? I would love to get this right it is such a lovely piece.
