col•lar: anything worn or placed around the neck.
Collars are very interesting pieces of adornment. When I typed “collar” into etsy I experienced a vast array of necklaces that varied in size, style and materials.

February 22, 2009 at 8:35 pmWow! Thanks so much for showing our collar. It was a collaboration between myself and Patty Lakinsmith, and so much fun to do.
Patty makes such fabulous beads! It’s very easy to create around her focals.

February 23, 2009 at 4:00 pmWow, some great ideas and creativity. Yesterday I was at a bead show and bought some spectacular beads. One set perfect for the weeks collar sharing. When I got home I had to do the predictable thing to get it out of my head. This morning I was able to do something a little more over the top. I find the creative process baffling at times, since even this morning what I ended up doing had no relationship to my original idea. Anyone else have this experience?

your collar turned out great! the stones and new design is fantastic!
I have things I have to do just to get them out and created. I may never do it again but I have to get it out of my system.
I’m glad you got the first piece out of the way to create something even more phenomenol.
