Faded Memories

I bought a bunch of components from the Jill Schwartz lines that. Are out at Michaels and Hobby Lobby several years ago. The collage and assemblage style of these pieces lend itself well to this challenge. Several of the inspiration pieces left me with a feeling of nostalgia and I’ve tried to capture that in this necklace. A portrait of a couple, an old key, and faded flower collection on the remnant of an antique diamond brooch... all speak of a romance weathered and faded with time. The necklace is completed with a Humblebeads disc bead and pressed brass plate chain.
