This necklace looks like it crawled right out of the sea! The organic shapes of the shards are meant to mimic sea urchins and are spaced with turquoise chips for a great pop of oceanic color. I could picture this on some Mesopotamian woman as easily as I could on the neck of a modern-day New York socialite! The designer, Barbara Hanselman, is also the bead artist! And she also happens to be our featured bead artist from the June challenge for the art bead category and makes the most deliciously rustic relics. Definitely, check it out!
