Seriously?! What is not to love about this design by StaciLouise Smith? The hand carved thorns, the polymer clay hummingbird skull, the lush chartreuse silk with the worn and frayed edges, the woven beads, the tangles of wire (I especially like the little tangle on the end of the chain)…. this necklace epitomizes the deep angst, the fiery passion and the thrilling vibrancy of the artist Frida Kahlo. I also think that Miss Frida would have worn this necklace in a heartbeat.
