For my question of the week I want to know what you are working on for the holidays. What kind of gifts are you making this year? If you’re not making gifts, tell me how you’ve been spending your time getting ready for the holidays.

Leave me your answer in the comments and you will entered to win some Jangles Holiday Beads of your own.

Happy Holidays!

Your holiday pieces are so sweet!
I must confess that I don't make jewelry to give as gifts. My friends and family buy enough from me throughout the year that I don't want to overload them, or have them thinking "well I know what I'm getting from Alice".

I stopped making jewerly last week so I could fully concentrate on holiday preparations, and had my last show a week ago (it was a dud). So now I'm busy buying and wrapping presents, organizing the gifts for our four adopted families, directing a children's Christmas play at church, finalizing plans for the city's annual Christmas Home Tour and Silent Auction-tomorrow!, trying to finish decorating the last of our four trees, and preparing for guests during the holidays.

It's a busy time of year, but I love being with family and celebrating the season!

i am trying to make some earrings with resin for friends, but more importantly helping my daughter my gifts for her high school friends… should be fun – just need her to decide!

Hello! All of these pieces do scream the Christmas spirit! Very pretty! After decorating our Christmas tree with red, white and silver snowflakes, I was inspired by that theme and designed a bracelet with my first polymer clay beads…Iā€™m pretty proud of that! Have a great Saturday and Happy Holidays!

Wow, what a tidy studio…mine does not look that neat!!! :0)

Your Christmas pieces are so cute…the only person I give jewelry to as a gift is my daughter and she likes silver items, so I don't make Christmas themed pieces specifically.

My last show is done, finishing up custom orders and decorating…I helped my grandson make a pair of sterling silver earrings for his mother…he made a copper pair before and they were great as are the silver ones!

    Cheers

Been using my muse for other artistic venues. Entered a door decorating contest at work that is for charity and benefits elder care programs in our community. I have more fun giving than receiving but I could see some of these cute christmas beads in my bead box. So adorable. Happy Holidays!!

    Adorable beads šŸ˜€

I've been making a few bits of jewellery with lampwork beads and my own polymer clay beads, but mostly I've not gifted any homemade presents this year. I am trying to buy other people's homemade items for presents though šŸ™‚

I am making earrings for the ladies that work with me (in my daytime job!). One can never have enough earrings! Each one is different based on the personality of the receiver and it is always well received, even though I do it every year. I usually add some sparkle so that it can be festive. Love your holiday pieces! Especially the peppermint earrings, so cute.

I am making a bracelet for my daughter. She liked a bracelet I made but it was too big for her. When I mentioned that we may not have any money for gifts this year, she said "You could make me something!". She is 12 and great, so while we are moving to a new city and a new job, I will try to finish this bracelet.

    Happy holidays.

Jennifer your holiday collection is so quirky and fun.

I volunteer at Gillette Children's hospital and right now I'm busy making costumes and leading rehearsals with the kids for the Christmas pageant.
I'm also in the middle of making 500 of my altered paper art tags to donate to a church group.

    I need some elf help.

Your studio is great! I have a spare room studio that is also a guest room and sewing room. It's messy but cozy. I need to get it ready for my daughter and her husband. They're coming home to PA from IA for Christmas. I'm super excited!!

I'm also finishing a few custom orders that are Christmas presents. Next week, I have an office lunch hour show.

I love that your work is so colorful and cheery!
    Have a Merry Christmas,
    Patti

Right now I am working on an order for 28 bracelets and 2 sets of jewelry for a medical practice.

For myself, I am making a necklace with a reindeer bead from Acme beads. He's so cute!

I also make a special necklace for my mom every year.

Hope everyone is having a happy holiday season!

I love your bright and festive work. I am currently working on the long headpin icecicles, I found beautiful varigated plum to pink rondells in glass that really sparkles. I add gold or silver spacers in between and the look is very victorian. I LOVE christmas tree ornaments. Every year when we go to the beach we buy several ornaments at a Christmas shop there. It is our tradition as a couple that started when we were just dating. I took last week off and got all the shopping, wrapping, and decorating done. Now all that's left is my two favorite things, Beading & Baking. I wish you all much joy. Mel
