Welcome to Studio Saturday! Each week one of our contributors gives you a sneak peek into their studio, creative process or inspirations. We ask a related question of our readers and hope you’ll leave comments! As an incentive we offer a free prize each week to bribe you to use that keyboard. The following week we choose a random winner.
This weeks winner is LisaS, Congratulations you won one of Cindy’s Mokume Gane Mini-Pendants.
Welcome to Jennifer Jangles studio!
Hi there! Hope everyone is doing well and staying warm. It’s a great time of year to cozy up with your beading supplies and make some jewelry. Things are in full swing here at the studio. I spent all last week re- arranging the gallery and decorating. There is still more to do , but isn’t that just the way it is?
Here’s what I have been up too.
I have also been working on my holiday gifts and holiday beads. I been making some of this…
And some of these…
It’s very busy, but I love every minute of it. I love the energy of the holiday season. Right now as I type the studio has ten kids in clay class making gingerbread houses. It’s fun to see them creating.
This leads me to the question of the week, do you love the holidays and all of the rush or would you rather skip them all together? Leave me a comment and you could be chosen randomly to win one of my holiday pendants.
And before I go, I want to give everyone a holiday gift… Printable gift cards. Click on the link to download the PDF file. I like to print mine on white cardstock and then punch for a ribbon. You will be able to find these on the side of my blog for the holiday season.
Happy Holidays!

November 5, 2011 at 3:07 pmJennifer, I just love the earring display! I've been wanting to revamp my very boring show display and this would be a great way to go vertical!
I love, love, love the holidays–from Halloween through New Years Day. I love the sights and scents of the holidays, and gathering with the family for good food and celebrations. But every once in a while I long to get away to a cozy lodge and skip all the hubbub.

November 5, 2011 at 4:43 pmI loved seeing your studio…so nice and clean and bright! Thanks so much for the gift cards. Giving us a gift was so very nice of you. As to the answer to the question: I love watching children open their Christmas gifts. I love buying children Christmas gifts. I love eating Christmas goodies. I enjoy creating jewelry for the holidays. Yes, I like that part of Christmas but the rest just leaves me frazzled!

November 5, 2011 at 4:57 pmI do love the holidays, but also find them incredibly stressful. Kind of a love/hate relationship.

November 5, 2011 at 6:20 pmThe holidays have always been a big deal in my family – not so much about the gifts but gettting together – big family dinners at my grandmother's and later on, at our house. It was chaotic but wonderful at the same time, My husband isn't into Christmas as much as I am, but we have a holiday open house every year and everyone pitches in to help get ready.

Thank you for the gift of the cards and for sharing your studio with us!

November 5, 2011 at 10:46 pmWhat a generous gift of your designed gift tags. Life gets extra hectic in our clergy household during the holidays. Sometimes I wish I could go and hide in the quiet of my studio, but never for long. I would LOVE to win your holiday pendant — so cheerful!

November 6, 2011 at 1:50 amI love the holidays. Always have, always will. I love buying the right presents for people I love, planning and cooking a big Christmas feast, watching my kids open their presents from Santa and from family. It's my favourite time of year!

November 6, 2011 at 5:20 pmI so love the holiday season.. everything leading up to Christmas. Christmas was always such a cheerful and festive time in my house growing up, I'm hoping to pass that on to my children 🙂 Though I promised my husband, no Christmas decorations till after our younger daughter's birthday on the 29th of this month lol.

November 7, 2011 at 4:18 amI love and hate this time of year! I love being with family, buying gifts and being thankful for everything in my life, but I hate the stress, crowds and traffic!

November 7, 2011 at 1:38 pmYour gallery and earring display look beautiful! I love the holiday season, it is my favorite time of year, but find that it goes by too quickly! I always end up busier than expected and tend to miss out on the little details of enjoying the preparation. One of these years I will start preparing in July! It is just so hard to get into the holiday spirit mid summer!

November 7, 2011 at 2:13 pmThanks for the gift card download – so cute! I love your tall skinny tinsel tree.
I am a lover of Christmas! I do not mind the pace, in fact, it's kinda fun. Sure, the long lines in the stores aren't fun, but that's why I try to get my gifts bought early. Decorating, making cookies, and spending time with family are why I love Christmas.

November 9, 2011 at 6:26 amI don't tend to do a lot for the X-mas holidays as I don't sell my jewelry and I just don't have a lot of folks to give too.
