Today on Bead Table Wednesday I pulled out the sari silk once again! For this one, I’ve been playing with embellishing a simple ball chain with sari silk and waxed linen to give it a stitched fiber look. It’s a simple knotting project that I know you’ll love! Watch the tutorial here:

I used my iPhone and Jess’ as camera 1 and camera 2.
To use more than one camera I used Switcher Studio. They have a 14 day free trial if you’d like to test it out. It’s pretty easy to use and they have videos online walking you through the basics. You can use switcher with IOS devices using the Switcher app. One device works as the ‘switcher’ that controls everything and you can add cameras on other devices that are controlled by the main ‘switcher’ device. You can also add recorded video, still photos and graphics.
For the overhead video shots I used an overhead tripod.
My light kit, that I really like, is from Amazon.com and would work great for regular photography too. They are huge, but fold down into a portable set with a carrying case.
I also use a microphone that I ordered from Amazon. (The Amazon links are affiliate links.)
And that’s it! I’ve added equipment slowly over the last year as I felt comfortable with making videos and ready to upgrade. Next week I’m hoping to have a smoother broadcast now that I know how to use the app better!
